HAMILTON ARTS WEEK
Hamilton Arts Week Festival highlights Hamilton’s growing arts & cultural community. Initiated in 2015 Hamilton Arts Week’s mission is to build awareness and participation with the arts and culture in Hamilton, including recognition of the importance of the creative industries in Hamilton and its associated benefits to the community and positive city building.
#HamiltonArtsWeek runs from June 14 - 21, 2019 starting with the James St Art Crawl and featuring a number of Hamilton Arts Council signature events including an Indigenous Music Series and the preview reception of our visual art digital archive Building Cultural Legacies. Across the City of Hamilton, you will find nearly 50 arts and cultural events taking place that demonstrate the mastery of creative practitioners and emerging artists in our community. Arts Week showcases the vibrancy of Hamilton's arts and cultural scene.
Arts Week 2019 Guides will be available in June for pickup at the Cotton Factory Launch Party (June 15) and various locations to be announced. The Hamilton Rising mobile event app will have listings and an Interactive Map during the week as well!
