Jody Boston
Educator, Therapeutic Clown

Jody Boston’s career was best summed up by her grade two student who declared she is a “chuckle artist”. Boston is a therapeutic clown, an educator (pre-K to postgraduate), and the program director of Under the Willows, an outdoor arts, garden and play program for children who have experienced adversity. Boston has two therapeutic clowns; “Kimmy” who works in pediatric health care and “Ruby”, who works in long-term care. When not clowning, facilitating, performing or learning you can find her laughing with her family, sweating through some kind of physical exercise, singing and enjoying Hamilton’s local cuisine… often all at the same time.
