CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
2013/2014 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Hamilton Arts Council invites nominations to serve on our Board of Directors commencing June 2013.
We are seeking energetic and engaged members of the community to fill upcoming vacancies in our Board of Directors. We welcome applications from people of all walks of life and at this time are especially interested in candidates with experience in human resources management, marketing and communications, fundraising and connection with Hamilton's arts community.
Following interviews with our Governance Committee, a slate of successful candidates will be presented at our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday June 18 2013 to serve a two-year term from June 2013 to June 2015. Elected Directors are eligible to serve an additional two two-year terms to a total of six years.
Interested parties are asked to complete and return the application form provided by Monday May 27 at 5:00 PM. Nominations will not be accepted from the floor at the Annual General Meeting.
