Welcome Jaye Woods to The Arty Crowd Out Loud! Jaye is a dynamic presence in the Canadian rap scene, who artfully blends his roles as an emcee and social worker to craft a unique intersection of Hip-Hop and healing. Megan chats with Jaye about his lyrics, including influential songs like Spoon Theory, and pivots within his musical career. Plus, Jaye performs his new single, Sensitive. Hear it before it's released on Spotify and Apple Music!

That's not all -- Megan takes a walk through Social Space’s Holiday Event and speaks with a couple of the featured artists, including distinguished Hamilton artist, Gordon Leverton, and Morgan Jones. Vitek Wincza, Founder of Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts (HCA), speaks with us about the impact Arts for All has had on the Hamilton arts community. HCA is the charity partner for Social Space's Holiday event.

We are elated to feature artwork every episode, courtesy of the AGH's Arts Sales & Services. This month's episode features, "Whimsical Revolutions" by celebrated Hamilton artist, Amy Ferrari.​​

It is part of her abstract series that provoke concepts of joy, harmony, hope, and positive energy solely through the use of colour and line. Amy Ferrari was academically trained with a degree in product design, giving her a unique and solid foundation that stressed the fundamentals of design. In this piece, she notes the whimsical energy whisks away darker thoughts. Ferrari is on a mission is to create art that energizes an environment with creativity, positivity, and happiness, which is her style is self described "Visual Optimism".​
